Noguchi Garden

Isamu Noguchi’s California Scenario, also known as Noguchi Garden, is a preeminent sculpture garden and oasis at 611 Anton Boulevard. The garden covers 1.6 acres and features designs that incorporate indigenous plants and materials. There are six main sections, representing the “California Scenario”: Water Source, Water Use, Desert Land, Land Use, and Energy Fountain, as well as a centerpiece called The Spirit of the Lima Bean. Entrance is free of charge.

The LAB

LAB (“Little American Business”) is a unique group of boutiques, eateries, and artistic events at 2930 Bristol Street in Costa Mesa.

“In the midst of Orange County’s suburbia,” their website says, “we recognized a need for an original, indoor-outdoor unconventional hang-out packed with a wide array of cafes, restaurants and retail that embraced a vibrant community of lovers in art, music, fashion and hip cuisine.”

Fairview Park

Fairview Park is a beautiful place, with open fields, hills, and a copse of trees. While the park is currently closed for group activities and gatherings, designated trails are open for pass-through use. Hike, bike, walk, run, or even ride your horse along the trails, and enjoy the beautiful atmosphere. 

Outdoor Concerts and Movies

This summer in Orange County, the OC Parks Summer Concert Series and Sunset Cinema Film Series are back! From June 18 to September 10, there will be 10 free concerts and 13 free movie showings. The concerts will be on Thursdays at 5:00 p.m., with the music beginning at 6:00 p.m. The movie nights will be on Fridays at 6:00 p.m., with the movie beginning at sundown.
